Spring Beckons
|
Large, chunky,
Delicious daffodils, Blossoms bobbing in a row, Subtle fragrance wafting low. Hundreds of upright waving heads, Taxicab yellow and nectarine orange, Large eyes nodding, beckoning From fleshy green-leaved stems. A piercing tableau of starchy precision, Choreographed, Synchronized, Scrumptious, Spunky. Spring’s early starters. |
