Sharing Martin Luther King's Dream
A photo essay
by Judith Sandoval
Introduction
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in the nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Martin Luther King, Jr. My photos were taken at the 2018 MLK Day march, with SF Police & Fire Fighters marching with us, & Celebration at Yerba Buena Gardens, where we reflected diversity, joy, courage, & respect. In the future, may all we dreamers rise up &, as activists, have the courage to fight for equality, through our diverse organizations, e.g., #BlackLivesMatter, #NoMuslimBanEver, #DACA, #MeToo, & #NeverAgain. Thank you, Martin Luther King! To Dreams & Peace! "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed that all men are created equal."
